The Utah Symphony

Founded in 1940, the Utah Symphony is one of America’s major symphony orchestras, known internationally for its distinctive performances and recording legacy. A leading cultural organization in the Intermountain West, the Utah Symphony has a rich history of international and domestic tours, award-winning recordings, and in-depth educational programs. Today, the orchestra’s 85 full-time professional musicians perform over 175 concerts each season.

BYU Ballroom Dance Company

Friday, October 12th

 

Since its inception in 1970, Ballroom Dance Company has performed for millions of people in over 35 countries, including a command performance for the Queen of Thailand. Under the direction of Professor Curt Holman and his wife Sharon, their distinctive style and artistic vision keeps BYU’s ballroom program at the forefront of ballroom dance in America.  This has led the President of the National Dance Council of America, Brian McDonald, to call the BYU Ballroom Dance Company “one of the Ballroom world’s greatest treasures”.

ATOS Trio

Pianist Thomas Hoppe, violinist Annette von Hehn and cellist Stefan Heinemeyer have been conquering the world's major concert series together since 2003. Around the globe, the ATOS Trio is hailed by audiences and met with critical acclaim. Praised for its warmth of sound, pitch-perfect unanimity of phrasing and dynamic interpretations, the Trio impresses both audiences and critics alike “... a true ensemble with an admirable fusion of voices and the gift of finding an expressive depth in their performances” (The Age, Melbourne).

The HIT MEN

The Hit Men are five brilliant musicians and singers who, throughout the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s, toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in the music business - huge stars from Frankie Valli and Carly Simon, to Elton John, Paul McCartney, Barry Manilow, Rod Stewart, Blood Sweat & Tears, and many, many more. They are not a tribute act. They are not the former cast of a Broadway musical. They are the actual artists who helped rocket so many songs to the top of the Billboard charts.

Nathan Pacheco is a classically trained tenor with a passion for reaching out and uplifting people through music. He has been featured globally in live performances, including touring the United States, Canada, and Mexico with Yanni; performing with Latin singing sensation Olga Tañon; touring England, Scotland, and Wales with Katherine Jenkins and the National Symphony Orchestra; performing for Prince Charles in conjunction with the British Forces Foundation and the USO; and performing with the San Diego and Miami Symphonies.

Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway

Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as fantastic numbers from Broadway’s newest hit shows.

Boston Brass

Bria Skonberg

New York-based Canadian singer, trumpeter and songwriter Bria Skonberg has been described as one of the “most versatile and imposing musicians of her generation” (Wall Street Journal). Recognized as one of 25 for the Future by DownBeat Magazine, Bria Skonberg has been a force in the new generation with her bold horn melodies and smoky vocals, and adventurous concoctions of classic and new.

Daniel Hsu

Saturday, February 23rd

Accompanied by the Dixie State Symphony Orchestra

20-year-old American pianist Daniel Hsu captured the bronze medal and prizes for best performance of both the commissioned work and chamber music at the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Also a 2016 Gilmore Young Artist, first prize winner of the 2015 CAG Victor Elmaleh Competition, and bronze medalist of the 2015 Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, he is increasingly recognized for his easy virtuosity and bold musicianship.

Catapult

Tuesday, March 5th

Founded in 2008 by dancer-choreographer Adam Battelstein, Catapult specializes in shadow dancing, which is exactly what it sounds like: a super, mega, deluxe version of shadow theater. Regardless of their backgrounds, what these dancers can do with their bodies is incredible. Featured on America’s Got Talent, the imaginative journey Catapult presents will mesmerize the whole family.

Justin Flom

Tuesday, March 26th

Minnesota born and resident of Las Vegas, Justin Flom is building a Magical Career.  From touring with Country Superstars Florida Georgia Line and creating magic for other stars including Lady Antebellum, Super Bowl Coach Pete Carroll and the entire Seattle Seahawks team, John Legend, Nick Jonas, and Chrissy Teigen, Flom finds himself in front of as diverse an audience as any entertainer.  Additional touring finds him at some of the nation's largest churches and colleges.  He truly has the ability to entertain anyone, anywhere!
